Kacey, you're right about the lipo. I almost threw up when I saw one

being done on tv. I really thought it was a nice gentle vacuum thing

and then I saw it - wow - no wonder people are in so much pain and so

bruised after they have it done. It seems like they go way to far!

I think my sister and I are both reacting to the foreign bodies

inside of us and the procedures that put them there!

They say that fibro can actually be brought on by any trauma to the

body, even a car accident or the death of a loved one, so yeah I

would say it is def possible, lipo has never been something that I

wanted. I guess because I don't dislike any part of my body except

the extra skin, that is why the boob job and the tummy tuck are the

two things that appealed to me.

I am too scared to do that tummy tuck though yuck!

Wow! I didn't know that fibro could be brought on by traumatic

events. This completely makes sense because my 17 year old sister

was diagnosed with it not too long ago. She had a bicycle accident

(ran straight into a brick wall) when she was younger and woke up

the next morning not being able to straighten her neck. Afterwards

she was constantly at the chiropractor. I, on the other hand, do

not have fibro...just RA. Before I knew my breast implants were the

cause of my disease, I thought that maybe my sis and I just were

genetically unlucky. But then I connected my breast implants to my

RA....and it just makes sense that her fibro came from her accident.

As for lipo...I have ALWAYS wanted this as well...anywhere the

doctor wanted to suction would be fine with me. There's just always

those hard to tighten areas. I actually did have lipo on the fat in

the crease of my arms when I had my breast implants put in. The

doctor decided to do it when I was on the table, saying that it

would make his work look better. Sometimes I wonder if the lipo I

had done sped up my body's reaction to the silicone shell....you

know, because it opened up/moved around tissues. Who knows. I just

know that now I'm skeptical about every unnecessary procedure. I

mean, does anyone really know what the long term effects of lipo

are? In 10-20 years I hope we don't hear about women who can no

longer walk due to the lipo they had done in their hips/legs/thighs.

Take care,

Kacey
