Guest guest
Hey , I saw your note about a fixative, not a dumb question! A fixative is some sort of preservative. I think you told me that Dr. Feng put yours in formaldahyde (sp?). Dr. Blais can probably still determine whether you had faulty valves, but I don't think he can test for all the little critters that may have been swimming around in there! You could probably call him and ask. I've talked to him several times now and he is very helpful. I'm getting mine out on Wednesday!!! Say prayers for me. Thanks! I really appreciate talking to you on the phone when I was freaking out over this whole thing. When you get to Oprah, print out a few of our stories and give them to her. Maybe she'll read them and then ask us all to come on the show! I'm still working on mine. It's too long and I keep trying to shorten it. Talk to you soon. Also, request that the explanting doctor NOT put them in a fixative as this kills the bacteria/fungi that may be present, and can make detecting the same more difficult. I wish you the best, you are on your way. > > Sawyer >
