Guest guest
Pam, I'm so glad your surgery went well . . . and that you have the support of your family! . . . You're just beginning the road to recovery . . . Please take extradordinary good care of yourself . . . and drink as much water as you possibly can! . . . It will help flush the stuff stirred up by the surgery before it has a chance to lodge someplace in your body. Hugs and prayers, RogenePam <nannapam37@...> wrote: I had my explant surgery yesterday. Guest guest
Hi all. Pam, Big congrats on the successful surgery!!! You really are on your way, the worst is now behind you. Hopefully Blais can tell you what the color is from. makes an excellent point. The manufacturer's booklet details how the product is to be used and not used by the physician. I suppose I have come across a few stories of physicians adding things to the saline like antibiotics, thinking that would ward off infection. The problem seems to be the contamination that can occur when they do that. I have no idea what your interests are, but you may want to have Blais retain them in his possession unitl you decide how or if to proceeed. Get some rest, and keep your spirits up. Guest guest
Hi Pam, Can I ask where is your incision for your lift? My explant surgery will be on Jan by Dr Feng and I understand that she did it through the nipple and I would like to know if there is any other way? What is your size now? Dr. Blais will test them. I did get a lift. I'm so sore! Pam > > I had my explant surgery yesterday. It went really well and I love > > my doctor and his staff. They were incredible! Guest guest
-- Pam I am glad to hear your surgery went well! I hope your recovery will go just as smoothly! That is strange that your implants were tea colored. I imagine dr. blais willbe able to tell you what accounts for the color. Mine were clear and I never had them tested. I kind of wish I had, but I was in too big of a hurry to just have it over and done with. I think Dr. Feng has destroyed then by now as it has been 2 years. The only thing I know for sure is that she said I had an acute imflammation in my right capsule. I also tested positive for mycoplasma fermantans and hominus---both are implicated in autoimmune illness. After I had mine out, it took about a week before I noticed a difference in my worst symptom---terrrible weird dizziness and brain fog. It went away and never came back! Good luck to you. smiles, kathy - In , " Pam " <nannapam37@y...> wrote: > I had my explant surgery yesterday. It went really well and I love > my doctor and his staff. They were incredible! Guest guest
Congrats Pam! Woo hoo! Take it easy, rest up and let us know when you head home. I'm so happy for you, and can't wait to hear what Dr. Blais has to say. God bless! Guest guest
Pam, That sounds like the anchor scar that I got. It is a little outdated, as the lollipop technique leaves less scaring and produces the same results. You can compare 's pics and my pics (mine are under the file called "anchor scars"). I wish I had gotten the lollipop, but my surgery was a little too premature for it...or else my surgeon wasn't up on the latest in plastic surgery...or else I wasn't a good candidate? I'll never know. I am sure you are going to look great. Looking forward to your pics. That's such a nice ending when you are bigger than before implants! Pyn, my incision is below the breast and up to and around the nipple if that makes any sense. I could draw it, but it's hard to explain. I'll try to post some post-op pictures soon. I'm not sure what size I'll be, but the doctor was pretty sure I'd be a 36B rather than 36A which is what I was before!Pam
