I am surprised that he used the anchor lift on you. It really is not

usually needed to get them out whole. In fact is a great

example of that, she got her implants removed whole and intact and

has only nipple incisions I believe. Of course she did not get a full

lift, but she looks great. Anyhow, the anchor scars are usually ok if

you have enough breast to cover them. The main problem and why I

would not have wanted an anchor is for those of us with small

breasts, there often is not enough tissue to cover the crease scars.

Anyhow it sounds like you have enough tissue that this won't be an

issue for you. For me with my very tiny boobs, a crease scar would

have sucked.

just to to add a note on this; not all women look good with a lolli- pop incision. That’s why there are different types of lifts, as according to where our breast falls (to the bottom or to the side) how much skin is left, how high he nipples are, how large they are, how much you got left, and most importantly where your original scar is-all depends on who would look the best with a lollipop or anchor or otherwise. I am glad for my shape and size of my breasts I did not get a lollipop! My explanting PS drew a picture of what my type of breasts would have looked like with it, (as I so thought I need that lift) it would look terrible. My initial incision under the breast would have been pulled up to my middle of my breast, as I have constrictive type breasts. (about half of women do) And got away with a lift without the nipple being cut. (For me that was a big deal as I was so scared of an infection there, and now know, it could have been very possible) Anyway, just wanted to add that in. Although it looks great on a lot of women, not all are good candidates for it. And will look worse with it.Patty how are your scars healing anyhow, are they noticable? And Pam, good luck with your recovery! Love you! ----- Original Message -----

Patty, he had to do it that way because my previous scar was just around the nipple. He explained it all and it made sense! I wanted to make absolutely sure that he wasn't going to drain anything out of the implants in order to get them out. I think he had to make that type of incision in order to get them out whole. Either way, I'm glad they're gone! I do have a picture of my implants and a before picture that he took and printed out. As soon as I find a scanner I'm going to try to scan them and send them to you to post. I go back to him today for follow-up.Pam> Pam,> That sounds like the anchor scar that I got. , My lift is hard to explain, as my ps has only done two of them (now after me another girl was good candidate for it) I guess because my beginning incision were so low, (she called it constrictive? ) , after the implants were removed the original scar that she again went into to remove them, was now at mid breast level! Yuck! So, I didn’t need a lollipop, and if I had one would have looked terrible. But was in def need for a lift. So I guess, she tucked and nipped excess skin to a lower point, to kinda pull down the breast tissue a little, (to cover the scar) and placed it into the original scar. So it was a full lift, ridding of excess skin, but in another sense. Does that make sense? it was only by a few inches, but it also lifted up the excess skin and made me lifted by positioning and tightening it a bit to my lower crease. It is amazing how she did it. She also took pictures of me sitting up in the surgery chair to show how my breast skin fell without a lift, as I wasn’t sure if I need one or not and placed the decision into her hands beforehand. They looked terrible with no lift! Sloppy is the word. Amazing, I really was blessed with the outcome, and her innovative thinking. ( I had her explain this to me like 4 times because I could not get it!) I even got 1,000 back as the lift took 1/2 the time as paid for, as she didn’t go into the nipple. So that was great! Love
