It sounds like your autoimmune flare is just very bad right now...please let us know how you are doing and if you are out of the hospital yet? Lupus is very much associated with kidney problems. I never was diagnosed with lupus, but I had some of the symptoms, including some bladder or kidney infections for a period of time. I did some fasting and cleansing that pretty much cleared that up. You might want to look into some fasting to help clear out some of those protein complexes in your system...Dr. Fuhrman has a great book called "Fasting and Eating for Health" where he talks about how a fasting program healed many people with autoimmune diseases. I believe my fasting program really helped me get through the worst of my illness.

I am sure the prednisone helped immensely. I am hopeful that things will settle down for you though...keep us informed.

This is mimi, I am in hospital they have admiteed for my bloood work rbc is very low and my kidney is spilling proteins, they have put me on heavey dose of Pednisone ivy for three days then they will try to do my kidney biopsyy to see how much damage has been caused to my kidney. It seems Lupas as attacked my kidney and blood, both dangerous. IPlease let me know if any one had similiar problems and was any one diagnosed with Lupas. Please Please pray for me God bless you.
