, you're probably right. But, I do have my records already and

he said he put the antibiotic in, I just have to prove he wasn't

supposed to and that it made me sick. I wrote Dr. Kolb but haven't

heard back yet.

I'm feeling pretty good. I hate to say I'm sure I'm better, because

I had a few good days here and there (not many) even before I had

them out. I hope and pray this is a good sign. I seem to be a

little clearer in my head and not as fatigued. I even went to the

mall today for 4 hours! I probably shouldn't have - I'm only 1 wk

post-op!

Hi Pam,

This is the message I received from my lawyer. I pasted the last

two emails you had written (about your situation with the Ancef and

everything). Here is what he wrote back:

" from a legal standpoint, an attorney will join all similar cases.

Therefore, the Plaintiff can enter the class or opt out and have an

individual suit, not both.

Expert witness doctors cost about 100,000 - 250,000. That is why it

is important to have a class action so the cost can be spread over

several victims and not just obey. "

Hope this helps a little,

Best and congratulations on explant!!!

Pam it is my opinion that while the ancef in the implants is ilegal

and clearly a no no according to the manufacturers advice, I doubt it

made you sick. Your symptoms are not much different than any of ours,

with or without the ancef I still believe that you were reacting to

the silicone, the ancef is just an antibiotic so I really do not

believe it made you ill. The fact is that it was wrong, and is stated

clearly by the manufacturer not to do it. I do not believe it proves

anything to do with your illness.
