Guest guest
Hi Trish, there actually is a way to unlock your program. The lock is meant for children, so they don't change the settings. It should be in your user's manual, or e mail the audi. It was mostly likely an accident. Can you switch to one of the other programs? And change that one? The sensitivity shows how wide of an area you are hearing from. The higher the number, the larger area. I keep mine about 3 or 4, because I don't need to hear the neighbor's dog barking, or traffice way up 2 blocks away. Had to convince my audi that I didn't need it that high. If you can't unlock it by yourself, then get an appt with the audi, and make sure you are NOT CHARGED FOR IT, because the program is something you can't use. Tell her/him right up front that you are not paying for this mapping session, since she/he put a lock on the program. Just the person I wanted to talk to. I've had the N5 upgrade for 4 weeks now. I found out yesterday, when a CI friend came over to look at my remote, that my audi has my sensitivity at12 and the programm is locked, so I can't change it. My friend and I have the same audi and his can be changed, he was only on 6 and he lowered it to 4. what does the number mean? I've always had a problem with backiground noise, so I'm totally astounded and ticked off at my audi.
