Thanks for your help.

I have hearing that comes and goes. I can have my hearing tested on a Monday and

I am not a candidate. Go back on Friday and I am. Very frustrating.

Well, for what it's worth, it's not a test you want to try to hard to

pass, if you know what I mean. We deafies are GREAT at guessing and

filling in the missing parts, but that doesn't mean we HEAR them. So if

your hearing is fluctuation, do what my first implant surgeon suggested.

" If you aren't absolutely, positively, 100% sure you HEARD what was said,

don't guess " . Works for me. Of course by the time I got my implant I

had NO hearing in either ear. That was the criteria 14 years ago.
