Lori

I now use ZeniPower Implant batteries for my disposables. I buy them in bulk and

get them from http://www.microbattery.com

They are much less expensive than PowerOne and they last the same amount of time

with the same sound quality for me.

In actuality, I notice no difference in sound quality between the disposables

and rechargeables. I hear equally well with either.

Happy Hearing!

just curious as to where's a good place to get the cheapest batteries for

rubys bte? - she still has some of what came with her 'initial pack' from when

she first got her implant (p675), but was wanting to see where's the cheapest

place to get more of them (i've got some websites/links, but the search's so

exhaustive, i thought asking might be faster & more helpful - thanks ahead

Hi Lori,

and can also recommend Microbattery.com for Zenipower. I import them from

the USA to South Africa, and try to let as many as possible people get

them. My daughter has been using them as well and we are quite satisfied.

Happy hearing!

Kind regards,

Altha

I buy my batteries by the box from my audiologist. It's WAY cheaper than

getting them from a store and they are fresh, so they last longer. I pay

about $40 for a box.

Hi everyone,

For those of you who use Freedom, are there places other than Cochlear to

buy the disposable batteries from? I mean I know I could go into my local

CVS and buy size 675 batteries but they probably won't last as long. I'm

curious to know what other options others have found. I am using both

rechargeable and disposable batteries.

Thanks,

Larry

Larry,

I buy the ZeniPower Implant Power batteries from http://www.microbattery.com

They work just fine for me and Microbattery seems to have the best prices.

You could call Cochlear directly and see if they can bill directly to your

health insurance. I am told medicare covers them. You would have to call ahead

as it takes a week or two, I think. I have not done it but worth a try if your

insurance covers them.

Also I was told these are special CI batteries, not 675 like Hearing Aid

batteries? Did you try 675 batteries?

You're welcome, .

I'm fortunate, my hearing aid and CI both use 675's, so I use the CI

ones in the hearing aid too.

Hello everyone,

My batteries are running a little low whereas the amount I have is probably

enough for about another 3 months or so. However, I probably should start

preparing in advance to order for more.

On the other hand, I might also be interested to upgrade to the N5, possibly

sometime later this year.

So, how would that work with the batteries? That they (i.e. Freedom + N5) both

use different batteries. And that the ones the N5 use are smaller, right?

Thanks!

Thy both use 675 disposables. The N5 uses 2 and the Freedom uses 3. They use

different rechargeables though.
