understanding more than one language?

I am scheduled for surgery on Jan 14. I have been reading about the post op

therapy and have a question. If you do the auditory therapy in English, do the

sounds and patterns learned " translate " to anothe language? My primary language

is english. I also speak spanish and french. I plan to be doing my therapy in

english of course. Will my word discrimination ability in the other languages

tend to parallel the scores for english?
