Guest guest
Hi Tom, you are doing well with your CI just activated. You must try your Bose headphones with your CI and HA - switch to Telecoil on your CI and HA and listen with the Bose headphones - Telecoils should work fine with the Bose headphones. Let us know what you experience with the Bose and CI and HA Telecoils. Regards. Ilana On 5/28/11, rver0347 <tmhagney@...> wrote: > > Hi Group, > > Just had my second mapping yesterday afternoon. Wow. Guest guest
Ilana, you're wonderful. I never realized I could use the " Bose " headsets with the T-coil on my HA as well as CI. The sound is good, still trying to balance the CI & HA while listening to TV. I've been missing out for years using my HA's with the Bose. Now I have to work on making them comfortable when pressing against the behind the ear devices. Tom > > Hi Tom, you are doing well with your CI just activated. Please share with us the sound quality when listening with 'Bose' via Telecoils compered to via the CI & HA Mics only with 'Bose'. Regards. Guest guest
Tom, Try turning the volume down a little on your Hearing Aid and see if that helps balance it better with the CI. I had the same problem and felt like all that sound was just ricocheting around in my poor ol' brain. It was pretty overwhelming and stressful. Once I turned the HA volume down a little I had much better speech clarity with the CI ear. Hope this helps Suzanne W - Nebraska Freedom - R ear Surgery 1/14/08 Activation 2/14/08 Alpha ENT Clinic Ft. , CO Dr. W. Conlon Ilana, you're wonderful.
