Guest guest
Jillian, When I got my 2nd implant I was told to use only that one so that ear could get up to snuff. A month later they mapped the 2 of them together. Now although the 2nd implant is dominant, they are balanced out so I hear as one. It takes a while so give it time. Hearing with 2 ears gives a nice fullness of sound. Happy Hearing! I was wondering if any of you that have a second cochlear implant have a hard time balancing it. My audiologist keeps asking me if it is balance but it makes me confused on how to balance it. I just know it kinda hard to balance it right now bc my left side is still new and has to get better and louder before i can actually balance it better. Anyone in the same boat as me? Guest guest
For balance? I would stand btwn 4 elevators and try to locate the " ding " of which one it was. Then I discovered what stereo really was. Cool! Neely Dallas Texas
