I have the same thing you have Ian. I do think it's morgellons I think morgellons comes from bird and rodent mites. I get blue red green and even white fibers that come off my skin when I lint brush it with a lint roller. I do know many others on here have this same thing and I have learned so much from everyone. the cralwing you feel is from the white mite so so keep clear tape near you when you on the computer and when you feel them moving put the tape in that spot. tommyFrom: Ian <tenchantre@...>Subject: Re: Update...bird mites Date: Saturday, January 24, 2009, 11:17 PM

No, I don't know what kind of mite it is. I have been pretty lax in

my research since August, when I gave up on using a computer. I'm

getting back in gear but -- as you all must know, this snowballs like

crazy.

I have a microscope and have examined a lot of little crescent-shaped

stuff that comes out of my skin, and fuzz balls on my head, and white

and black specks my mother finds, and a few other things. They all

seem to be by-products of the mite.

For a long time I figured I had Morgellon's and was preparing to die

(by my own hand). After reading more about bird and rat mites, I'm

more convinced that we are just dealing with a mite. (I don't have

Lyme, open sores, fatigue. I do find weird cotton balls on me,

though, and chunks of white goo with threads throughout, but I'm not

sure that isn't normal, either.)

How do I trap the mite, and find it, so I can microscope it? I have a

friendly entomologist who will ID it if I can just find it. (Doctor's

biopsies and skin scrapings revealed nothing.)

Thank you.

I agree too, but he is describing the earlier days of my battle. I no longer have as much problems (for a few months now), but have not completely eliminated them.

Yes, I know what kind of insect it is. The post onwww.e-bug.net/ forum tells it all. If you scroll thru all the spam until you get to 11/26/08, there you will find a post by Greg called "Invisible to the naked eye". I agree with him 100% on what this condition is. Well Done Malisa on your good progress.

I hope that the spasms subside for you. Many people report an improvement after

a few weeks, otherwise stick to the iced water!

Well done too for taking things easy. It won't be long now before you feel you

can tackle practically anything food-wise.

Keep up the good work, love from Ann xx

Hello all.

I just wanted to give a quick update on what is happening with me.

I'm now almost 6 weeks post op from Myotomy and fundo. I'm doing better every

day. I almost thought I was never going to get better since I would take one

step forward and two steps back. I have almost all foods back into my diet.

Still no dairy, carbonated and cold foods yet, but I can live with that, and

everything is still fine. YEAH!!!!

As for the spasms...well I was prescribed the niphedipine and I will NEVER,

NEVER, NEVER... take it again. I thought I was going to die. It made me have

heart palpitations. ..which set off anxiety attacks. Obviously it wasn't for me.

I still have to discuss medications to take with my doctor since that didn't

work.

I did go back to work....which I'm glad I did, since sitting around the house

was driving me nuts. I feel like I'm actually get back to my old self.

Hi Stacey, we missed you!

I'm jealous you have a romantic t'ai chi partner. I think you two will really

enjoy this! Are you going to do it in a park or studio or are you going to use

videos?

Hello everyone.

I am guilty of lurking but have been reading just not so active these days. I

have to thank the members of this wonderful support group who helped me through

the past 18 or so months. I ahd another mapping yesterday. I've gained another

5% speech comprehension. I'm pleased that i have been able to understand 85%

speech comprehension over the past year and before surgery zero. I did best

with the beeps and tones almost a 100%. I did miss a few sentenses and

especially the ones spoken by a man. To me men sound like donald duck. (IMHO)

I still ahve trouble and probably always will in groups and lengthy

conversations. I'm able to also use the telephone for amall talk. this makes

my daughter so very happy. I'm also a deaf/blind (not totally but enough)

After not working since 1986 I am even contemplating going back to work.

thanks to everyone who's helped.
