Guest guest
Hi, Today I was meant to have my donation Freedoms MAPped. My Audi looked for a 2nd hand N24 Freedom Coil/Cable but couldn't find. We started MAPing of my black (donated) 3G and we ran into trouble. She would do the beeps and I'll hear them and as soon as she switched it on while still connected to the PC, I couldn't understand a thing - usually I coud hear and understand. She tested that 3G's mic and noticed a little strange sound and said the 3G's mic might be damaged. So we switched to my own 3G and the same thing happened. She then started to increase the current on all electrodes and I tried it again and the same happened. By this time we were busy almost an hour and I told her to just store the programs on the 3Gs and let it be - as long as I can hear even only sounds. She placed the batteries into my 3G and handed it to me and I put it on - oh it nearly blue my brains out of the window. I then said maybe it's the cable connection from the PC that's the problem. So she went to fecth another PC cable and the same happened, so it might be the connection. She then just lowered the current to the electrodes on that new loud MAP and it is quite good but as I use it I'll become used to it. Since we didn't have time to work with my Freedom ear, I'll go back on March 24th or in May and then hopefully she'll have a Freedom 24 Coil/Cable so we can MAP one of the Freedoms for my N24. This will surely help when my 3Gs play the dying game for sure on me. I just prayed while at my audi today that today isn't that day. Bless my audi for keeping on trying - I told her that I hope I didn't stress her with this MAPping session - for sure it started out as a blue Monday. Will keep you posted for sure.
