Guest guest
Hi Peggy, It is a big decision. Read what all the manufacturers are saying. As for MRIs, how often do you need one? Do you have a condition that requires frequent MRIs? Because if not, there are lots of other diagnostic tests that can be done that do not require your getting up close and personal with a magnet. And, if you DO need an MRI and have a Nucleus product, the magnet can be removed, the incision covered with a sterile cloth while you're in the MRI, and then a new magnet inserted and incision closed back up. That allows you to have a full strength MRI. If you need frequent MRIs, the Nucleus product can be modified so there is no internal magnet, and then you don't have to get the magnet removed for an MRI. Nucleus Volunteer My doctor recommended the med el for the purpose of an mri but like someone mentioned that even though you can get a light mri, you can't get a full mri in case need be. ____________________________________________________________ Get Free Email with Video Mail & Video Chat! http://www.juno.com/freeemail?refcd=JUTAGOUT1FREM0210
