Most insurance companies will not pay for an upgrade as long as your

processor is repairable. This is standard among the insurance

industries. Stops people from deciding they need an upgrade, because the

new ones have cooler colors available and so forth. 5 years is usually

the cut off date for repairs. After that, many insurances will pay for

an upgrade.
