Guest guest
have you been remapped lately? Do you have your processor set on more volume or sensitivity? The above are both factors which could affect the number of hours you are getting on your batteries. Happy Hearing! I usually get about 45-50 hours per set of batteries from Power One from last years order, & recently received a new order of 300 batteries that expire in 2014. Problem is, I am not getting the 50 hours of battery life like with the last order batch. My hours go now from 38 hours & sometimes 45-50 hours. My spare processor, which I never wear, does no better. I never get exposed to loud noises or change my volume setting, and I do use my dry & store every night. Anyone have any ideas? I am planning to get a Nuke 5 early next year. Thanks for your help....Barry in Pa.
Guest guest
Carol, Using the same program, volume, & I never touch my volume settings, ever. Saw my Audi a little over a year ago, & she said my hearing was fine as it was. Using the same map for about four years now. Battery life for four years were 50 hours, until I received a new batch of batteries recently & now startd having problems with reduced battery life. The only way I can afford buying a Nuke 5 is to wait until after the end of this year, when Cochlear will no longer repair the Nucleuscontour 24, & then the insurance company I have will help me simply because when they rejects me early this year, they said it was only because Cochlear was still doing repairs. Thanks...Barry in Pa. > > have you been remapped lately? > Do you have your processor set on more volume or sensitivity? > The above are both factors which could affect the number of hours you are getting on your batteries. > Happy Hearing! > Carol > Boca Raton, FL > Cochlear America Nucleus 24C - left ear - Sprint 12/11/01 then 3G then upgraded to Freedom on 2/19/08 > Cochlear America Freedom right ear -implanted 3/01/06 - activated 4/06/06 > > From: mish > Sent: Monday, July 18, 2011 1:03 PM > > Subject: Nucleuscontour 24 3G battery life > > > Hello Group, > I know I seldom post, but I do read the posts here often.
