Guest guest
Hi Arlene, Thanks for sharing your article with us! I found it very interesting. I moved from PA to NJ in 2009. DO you know if there is a Hearing loss Chapter in the Burlington County area of NJ? Patti Surgery Day 11/25/02 (What A Day!) Hook Up Day BWP 1/2/03 (A Happy Day!) 3G 1/31/03 (An Even Happier Day!) I was interviewed online, covering hearing loss, cochlear implants, advocacy, and my books. I thought you'd all like to see it. Guest guest
Hi Patti - There's a HOH support group in the Burglington area run by the regional Vocational Rehab office but open to the putlic - that may eventually turn into a chapter. HLA-NJ does have an email contact list, which I maintain, and I'd be happy to add your email address. I send out info about events, issues, updates, that would be of interest to anyone with a hearing loss. For anyone else on this list, let me know, and I'd be happy to add your address too. It's our " cyber chapter " - we welcome one and all. I hope you'll join us for the Garden State NJ Walk4Hearing on October 15 in Mercer County Park. Info is at the www.walk4hearing.org website - and go to the NJ Walk page. Our KickOff event has just been reschedule to Sunday, Sept. 11 at 2 pm - info is at the website as well.
