Guest guest
Maximizing Your Use of Telecoil Recipients have shared with Cochlear that they value being able to talk on the phone. So engineers positioned the telecoil horizontally in the Nucleus 5 Sound Processor to maximize clarity and sound with your phone. There are two ways to use telecoil with your Nucleus 5 Sound Processor and Remote Assistant: manual and auto-telecoil. Your clinician may need to enable your auto-telecoil setting to enjoy this feature. If you have auto-telecoil enabled, watch our YouTube video to learn how to activate auto-telecoil on your Remote Assistant! Also, check out our Support Center to learn how to select the best phone for you. Currently, Cochlear is researching ways to maximize your hearing experience with your telecoil setting in a looped room. Here are some tips for you: Try moving around the room to find the best location for telecoil use. Typically sitting closer to the edge of the room provides better signal strength and quality versus that obtained when in the center of the room loop. Ensure auto t-coil is not on. Watch our YouTube video on how to turn on and off your telecoil setting manually! "
