Guest guest
Meghan, Well you probably remember tha CERT helmet and tis band on the inside. Its a fairly hard plastic so there is no conforming it to go over the headpiece. I got it figured out last night so from now on I will just tweaik it slightly while in class. But yeah, I will confer with the folks and see if there are other options. They gave me a chin strap which helps a lot but it does not have a quick release so will ask if there are other types I can try. With helmet, goggles and face mask, well, it was fun trying to hear people even with an FM system. Everyone is supportive so that is half the battle. Quote of the nanosecond... Surely they could find a way to adjust the helmet so that it doesn't bother the headpiece. Just thinking of my helmet, I don't see how it would be possible but I don't know. I would think there would be a way though, making adjustments of some sort. I was part of CERT a few years back but I only had hearing aids so I didn't have much of an issue with the helmet.
