Guest guest
I was given a choice and decided on my worst ear. I still had some bass tones in my left ear and wanted to preserve that. My audi left the choice to me, but after I made the decision he said he thought that it was the right choice for me. I implanted my right ear, but I use an 11 inch cord and wear my processor mostly on my left ear. This way I can switch the processor from side to side in a restaurant, in a car, or whatever situation I am in. I also use my processor on my left ear to use the telephone because I can take advantage of what little natural sound I have, along with the CI, and it works for me. N24C 3G August 2002. Guest guest
When I get my implant, I'm doing my left (worse) ear. I still have enough hearing in the right ear that I can kind of get by with a hearing aid. Meghan
