Hi Shari,

I have not taken the Fungal Defense, but have taken the Primal Defense. I think the bottle says to take it on an empty stomach, and I know it is very effective. All the Gardon of Life products have a great reputation, and Dr. Jordan Rubin's story is pretty incredible. I have alot of faith in his products based on what I have read and experienced with them myself, so I hope you find them to be greatly helpful to you too.

I would not put the oil of oregano directly onto tissues...I am quite certain that all essential oils need to be diluted, or you risk burning and/or irritation because they are quite potent. I myself take the oil of oregano in juice or water, mixed as well as it can since oil and water don't mix well. My oil of oregano is furthermore in an olive oil base, so already diluted in a carrier oil. Be careful...I don't know what kind of oil of oregano you are using, but always dilute any essential oil before applying to skin or taking internally.

It is probably a good idea to take your probiotic at a separate time than the oil of oregano, so keep that up.

It is hard to say if your megadophilus is a good one or not. One clue is that it should say it contains organisms in the billions per dose. For instance, mine (Jarro-Dophilus) states that each capsule contains 3.4 billion organisms, and it should list the various strains, which it looks like yours did. I just am not sure what the 300 mg represents. Mine states it has 210 mg of FructoOligoSaccharides, or FOS, which are different from the probiotic strains, in that FOS are natural carbohydrates that support the replication of the beneficial bacteria.

Another clue is that since these are live organisms, they need to be refrigerated, so when you purchase them they should be from a refrigerated section. This is not true of Primal Defense, since these are soil based organisms. Primal Defense also states its probiotic blend in the billions of organisms, and it has 14 different strains listed.

One more aspect of a good probiotics to look for is that they may need to be enteric coated to survive stomach acids in order to make it to the intestines. It should state something to that effect.

I hope this helps, ,

Patty

Shario, I had realy bad yeast problems, seen it on a live cell screen. Fungus everywhere, when I had implants. Then it was slowly going down after explant, but taking forever.Still in bad amounts. I went on a trial run of the Fungal Defense, and I went in for another live cell, and for once there was a big difference! I went on it again for 2 weeks, and lowered even more.I then followed up with Primal Defense, and am still on it. I have normal amounts of yeast now, after struggling to get rid of it for 3 years (And probably had it much longer than I knew) I would recommend it, as well as a yeast free, sugar free diet to eliminate yeast. Without the diet, nothing will be able to work, if you have a chronic case. Fungal/ candida thrives on sugar and yeast. I also drank about 12 cups of water a day with orgainc fresh squeezed lemons in it for cleaning up, and also making my body less acidic. Hope that helps.

Thanks

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my fungal defense - i am soooo tired of

these yeast issues. I have another sinus infection so I don't know what to do

about antibiotics - I am scared to take them yet I don't want to end up back in

the hospital w/ another sinus infection so out of hand that it requires surgery

again - two sinus ops in 6 weeks is enough for me! I have a raging yeast

infection again now as well as all of the symtoms of chronic yeast problems -

flulike symptoms, night sweats, fatigue - you name it. I went on line looking

for info/help on yeast issues and found a site w/ a quiz - let's just say that I

had the most points I could have! I had my explant in april - was on

antibiotics for 2 weeks- then developed a rib infection from it and was on

antoher 2 weeks then in August I started the chronic sinus issues and have been

on antibiotics ever since. It's no wonder I have yeast problems! Why my doctor

never mentioned this I have no clue - if it weren't for Sawyer calling me the

other night and bringing it up I never would have realized the extent of my

problem. I thought " yeast " was just a female problem - I never knew it could

cause all of the other issues. Antibiotics are a double edged sword.
