Just as I was going to log off my PC, I heard 'Beep-Beep, Beep-Beep' - my mom's

mobile phone receiving a message and the phone is quite a distance away. The

only sounds at that time was the fan of the PC, the text-to-speech was quiet.

Amazing how I can hear metres away when it's quiet. God bless the hands and

brain who created the Multichannel Cochlear Implant AKA Bionic Ear. Well, now

it's off to my silent world and to be awaken in the morning by my ShakeAwake

alarm to get ready for cycling at 10am. Hopefully no rain and not much wind but

that remains to be felt and seen.
