Guest guest
Pam, I do hope you feel better soon. Good luck on finding a Dr. I'm here if you need to talk. Barbara
Guest guest
, you are right about my records - if I'm honest with my doctors - which I always am - they'll check with my other docs and then they'll all decide not to help me because of what the first doc said about me. It is so unfair! Totadol is a very strong NSAID and unfortunately I can't even take a baby aspirin without my stomach catching on fire! I have a history of peptic ulcers from back in 1990. I got them from taking 800mg Motrin every 4 hours for 2 weeks after hitting a deer with my car. That blew my chances of ever taking an NSAID again. In 1993 I had another accident and was given Toradol even though I told them about the ulcers. I took 3 doses total and vomitted and had diarrhea for 3 days. That was when I found out it was an NSAID. Proof that doctors do not listen and/or do not believe we know what we're talking about. The ulcers have healed, but I have tried off and on to take Motrin or Aleve and no matter how much food I have in my stomach or if I take antacids - prescribed or over the counter - my stomach still hurts. Also, I found out yesterday I have GERD - reflux disease. I can take Flexerill but my pain is in my joints way more than muscles. I'm working on getting a real doctor! Wish me luck. Guest guest
Torodol cannot be taken for long periods of time either, it is very dangerous and I am also one that cannot take allot of anti inflammatory drugs. Narcotics are really the only thing that worked for my pain. And they have allot less side effects than some of the other more easily obtainable meds. Keep at it Pam there wil be one out there that will help you, but you cannot give up ok! , " Pam " <nannapam37@y...> wrote: > , you are right about my records - if I'm honest with my > doctors - which I always am - they'll check with my other docs and > then they'll all decide not to help me because of what the first doc > said about me. Guest guest
Pam your medical records are confidential and unless you signed something saying that your releasing any information to other dr's then they cannot use your past stuff against you, you can sue for that.
