Guest guest
Rogene, Sorry to hear about your Mom. My mom hasn't been well lately either, sometimes I blame myself because all she has been doing the past year is worrying about me. Besides her having MS, she has a real bad arthritis flare in her hands, high blood pressure, and yesterday we found out she is having hemmorages in her eye and if it continues she may lose sight. Mothers are so precious and we hate to see them in any pain. I will keep you and your Mom in my prayers and keep me and my mom in your prayers too please. Guest guest
Rogene Yes I did read the book.Unfortunately my mother is so thick headed and will not try any alternative methods. She takes so many prescription pills 3 high blood pressure pills, fosamax for osteoporosis, nortriptoline (anti depressant),mobic for the arthritis. The only supplement she will take is a multivitamin and her prescription folic acid. I just recently got her to take sublingual b12. She puts all her trust in MD's and I told her these pills are only treating symptoms , not curing her. Now she has an appt with a Rheumatologist for the arthritis and she is going to an eye clinic in Massachusetts. I am sure she will be taking even more pills. I told her she should at least try accupuncture for the arthritis. I went for a while and it does help pain. But I dont know how to get her to listen to me. Guest guest
Rogene, How blessed you are to have your mom still at 91 and such a sweet sounding woman at that....I'm really sorry to hear of the breast cancer diagnosis. I pray her surgery goes well and that it isn't too hard on her fraile body. She is so smart to reject the chemo and radiation! Is she going to take the RM-10 for the "pills"? If you remember, in Patient Heal Thyself, Jordan Rubin developed the RM-10 for his mother who had breast cancer (I think it was breast cancer, wasn't it, and not some other cancer?). Anyway, the RM-10 cured it, he claims. That is a great testimony. I have a friend whose dad had cancer a number of years ago. They got into the alternative stuff instead of the cut and burn route, and went up to Canada to purchase the formulation for some herbs that were reputed to cure cancer. This concoction later came out in the form of a product called Flor-Essence, put out by the Flora company. It was a recipe that they paid $10,000 for, bought from a Chippewa Indian woman--a recipe using a bunch of herbs that they then had to search out and buy organic from different sources. Many people would say right here, "RIP OFF!" What alot of work to go through, huh? But that recipe cured her dad of cancer! It actually worked! I don't know how long he was on it, but she said it made him grow these long thick black chest hairs. He lived for years after that. Today, you can buy Flor-Essence at many health food stores, and the first time I heard of it, it was in a discussion about cancer cures. I suppose if I ever got cancer, I would use the Gerson therapy and these herbs too. Rogene, I hope your mom does okay. She sounds like a real sweet mom. Hugs, Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: Rogene S Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2004 5:25 PM Subject: Please say a prayer for my mother I learned today that my mother (91) has breast cancer . . . She will have surgery Tuesday. They want to do a mastectomy, but she has opted for a lumpectomy. She doesn't want radiation, or chemo . . . but she has agreed to take some "pills". She's in good spirits about it all . . . doesn't want to make a fuss. In fact, she didn't want anyone to tell me! - I might put it in my Christmas newsletter!. . . My sister has an active case of shingles, so she has no business going to the hospital - so they told me! . . . According to my mother, "it's about a two-hour outpatient surgery" . . . They wanted to keep her overnight, however she plans to go home as soon as they release her from the recovery room. I'm going to take her to the hospital then stay with her as long as she wants me there. . . She doesn't think she needs anyone to stay with her the night or day after surgery! But I'm going to stay at least that long! . . . I pray she does as well as she expects! Would you say a prayer for her too? Her body is slowly wearing out, but her mind is great! She's ready to go the Lord whenever He's ready for her . . . so, for her, none of this is a problem! Hugs and prayers, Rogene

Guest guest
Barbara, How sad that your mom has MS..I am sure that has been hard to watch her go through it. There are so many alternative measures out there for MS, too. I hope she finds some relief from her ills soon...I pray that her eyes are opened (in more ways than one!) soon. Guest guest
Barbara, your mom is my prayers. Hang in there, and know we are there for you. Moms are so important in our lives, often taken for granted.... They are so much part of who we are. And mom's can't help but worry about their children no matter how old they are! i know my mom really worried about me when my husband died and I finally realized I had to pretend to be ok sometimes even when I wasn't because I was depressing her so much. I hate to sound like a broken record, but do you think your mom would try antibiotic protocol? Some people with ms are taking it, and it is definitely used for RA. On the websites for people with rheumatic diseases, you could find out more info about antibiotics being used for ms by asking for links for that info. Take care and I will be remembering her in my prayers.kathy-- In , "Dave & Patty" <fdp3@c...> wrote:> Barbara,> How sad that your mom has MS..I am sure that has been hard to watch her go through it. Guest guest
Thanks girls for keeping my mom in you prayers. She is very thick headed and she really will only listen to her Drs. which is so sad. All they keep doing is filling her up with pills. I am going to have to pretend I feel better than I do when I am with her. Thanks again girls. Barbara
