Looking for 3G to borrow

Taking a chance in hope someone can help me.

Some of you know that I lost my processor. I contacted my implant center

and its loaner limit is .. gulp, one week or so. The audie also wrote:

" I honestly don’t think we can provide a loaner for such an unknown amount

of time, we would be happy to provide one for a week or so but for a month

or two I don’t think would be fair to other patient’s that may need the

3G. Cochlear has not been entirely reliable with their “release dates†of

upgrades. We have not been told by Cochlear about anything with the N24

upgrade so until we have a specific date from Cochlear telling us when will be

available I don’t think we can loan out a 3G "

I guess I have a problem!

So my question now is,,,,,, does anyone have a spare 3G that I can borrow

until the N5 comes in?

No Trish, as they said in an eariler email to me, they won't loan out anything

without specific time frame,, in this case, we are looking at 1 to 2 months,

maybe longer and they won't do it for more than 2 weeks.

Cochlear America told me release date of N5 for N24CA implantee is mid April,

but my implant center said that Cochlear America tends to be in error when it

comes to release date. As of yesterday, the implant center has NOT recieve any

news on N5 yet.

See my problem? I need a spare 3G that I can borrow for however long it takes.

Lee,

Contact Cochlear and tell them of your plight. Perhaps they will put you first

on the list due to the circumstances.
