Sharon, That is wonderful about your Mri results. I just went through that (waiting for the MRI results) for possible MS about 5 months ago. It was also negative. What a huge sigh that was for me. I know how you were feeling to a degree , and just to let you know- I was rooting for you. I doubt highly that Mayo will be of any help when it comes to en bloc. I have been there, and it is very conventional. Just go to one of our recommended docs, and youll do great!

I would also recommend that you start eating a more detoxing type diet, and look into some supplements if interested. Alot of the recommneded ones are all put together in a silicone protocol type diet my explanting PS created, and helped me immensly.I just followed it, and couldnt believe the differnence. Alot of the suppllements are geared to ridding of platinum, silicone ,tin, common materials found in implants ,as well to supoort immunity, and clear out toxins. In the beginning after explant, if I fell off the eating plan, I would feel terrible. I had alot of yeast overgrowth, and the diet supports your immunity to fight off infections, instead of growing them. It is simular to the diet my doc here in IL Dr Mercola recommends that I now follow. This helped me alot. You can view it at www.plastikos.com under silicone protocol. You may be overwhemed with all the stuff, but dont have to take all of it, and realy is a great way to read how some things help, (like detoxing) and even of you dont go on it, its great for tips and a healthier diet! I had a great experience, and couldnt empathise more on THE POWER OF diet, diet , diet (not less food, but rich in fruits and raw veggies for healing) Patty also had alot of detoxing ,and diet on our site that is very helpful!

Good Luck to you........

By the way, just an update on Daryl....the last I had heard from her, she went to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain. That was a few weeks ago, and she has not returned any of my calls since then, so I don't know what is going on with her. I know she has been off her computer since they moved into their new home, and I was hoping she would get back on the group soon, but she has not been doing real well with pain. She got on some of the Mannatech products and experienced a worsening of her symptoms, like I did, so she stopped taking them. I hope to hear from her soon...if any of you remember her and want to drop her a line, her email address is daryljean@.... I hope she will answer us soon as to how she is doing! She is almost one year post explant by now.

Sharon,

How are things going for you?

I just wanted to make a few quick comments regarding Mayo. I know they are supposed to be a great clinic and have a great reputation. I am not sure why to tell you the truth, but I know several women sick from implants who went to the Mayo clinic in sdale, and came back none the wiser, but a whole lot poorer for the experience. Daryl went through tons of tests, but basically nothing came up even though she was in terrible pain, and they couldn't give her any kind of diagnosis, nor any help. I don't want to speak for her, but her experience seems consistent with that of what I have heard from others who went to Mayo, just one of frustration. Of course, since they are firmly entrenched in traditional medicine, and traditional medicine says that implants don't cause all our illnesses, the folks at Mayo just don't impress me as being able to help much, and I don't know of any PS associated with Mayo who has been recommended as knowing how to do a proper explant. I really wish there was!

Let us know how you are doing..

Patty
