Guest guest
Hi All, Your conversations about Meniere's disease is quite helpful. BUT you do NOT have to include the entire text of each letter with your reply. Use Cut and Paste to include the important information. There are several deafblind members on this forum, and having to scroll through 5 or more letters attached to each reply gets very tiring for a person who cannot see. It's tiring for people who CAN see. So please, when you answer, make sure you're not set to include the entire forum being sent back, or 4 or 5 letters. A few sentences can give people the idea of what you are replying to. Thanks, ____________________________________________________________ Small Business Tools Compete with the big boys. Guest guest
I sort of see your point ..however I disagree . I personally find it helpful to have the entire thread in case I have missed a response. Or perhaps someone is new to the forum and has not seen the initial thread, they will then have the entire conversation. My client server, as do all that I have ever used, puts the latest response 1st so if a deaf blind person is familiar with the thread already they can simply stop reading it or if they are coming into the thread in the middle they have the past responses to review. In the business world this is the etiquette that is used as well.. ________________________________ From: Nucleus24 <nucleus24@...> Sent: Sun, February 21, 2010 9:27:10 PM Subject: Re: new member  Hi All, Your conversations about Meniere's disease is quite helpful. Guest guest
Hi! I've just joined your group, and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is a and I'm a 31 yr old married, SAHM to two. My son is 11 and my daughter is 2. I was implanted with the Freedom in October of 2005. I have done wonderfully with it. I went from 0% speech recognition to 90% in 6 mos. At the time that I got the implant, I was on medicaid. I've since gotten married and do not qualify for medicaid, as my husband makes too much (whoever heard of THAT being a bad thing!) Anyway, here's my dilemma. My processor is in dire need of being replaced. I'd really love to upgrade to the new one, but the costs are just out of the question right now and from what we understand by speaking with both Cochlear and our insurance (BCBS), it most likely will not be covered. What, if anything, can I do? Anyone else ever been through this? Any and all help is appreciated!!! Thank you all in advance and have a blessed day! a
Guest guest
We were offered the extended warranty when my original warranty was near the end, but we just didn't have the money to pay for it. > > > > Hi!
