Guest guest
Question This poll is for N5 users only. Please do not reply if you do not use the N5 processor. It has been reported that there are significant issues with the use of the N5 processor in a situation where a Loop System is required. Because of the positioning of the of the T-Coil which works well with the telephone but not in a looped area. Responses Since I struggle with this issue, it would help me if Cochlear could revisit the need to make an adjustment so that the looped areas are easily available for me Votes: 2 10% I can live with the problem Votes: 3 15% I would be willing to advocate for myself and others by informing Cochlear that this problem exists for me Votes: 1 5% This has happened when I use T-Coil in the looped room Votes: 1 5% I have not had this problem in a looped room. Votes: 5 25% I do not need to use a loop with my CI. Votes: 6 30% This problem has made it difficult for me in meetings. Votes: 2 10%
Guest guest
It is a shame that we did not get many people to vote on this. > > > Question > > This poll is for N5 users only. Guest guest
I have not had the opportunity to be in a looped room or setting since getting my CI. This may be the case for others also. I do hope it works whenever I do get to be in a looped setting. Bobbi > > > > > > Question > > > > This poll is for N5 users only. Please do not reply if you do not use the N5 processor. Guest guest
I totally agree but I kept reminding people to enter their answers to the poll. I couldn't do more than I did. I have found that the poll is a great feature but not used by most of the members. Alice > > > > > > Question > > > > This poll is for N5 users only. Guest guest
Alice, I think many of us just are not yet eligible for the N5. I will not be eligible until October, and I am rarely in a looped room situation anyway. Telephone use is still a big problem for me and I hope that the t-coil may improve that for me. And as I said previously, I have participated in Cochlear surveys several times over the years. Steinerman In a message dated 8/17/2011 7:57:34 A.M.
