Randy,

This is a medical question and one you should call your CI Surgeon

about today. I believe that the surgeon should see you and look at

your surgical site. We are not professionals and can't answer this

question for you. Please make the call today.

meeting your boss discussing your performance evaluation and blood

start running down your neck. I have gone to the doctor - several

times now. For driving 200 miles round trip he tells me it should

have already healed. For that he get to bill my health insurance

carriers. Anyone ever heard of a suture line bleeding 5 months after

surgery? By bleeding I mean that it starts out by oozing blood,

usually in very small amounts, but every once in a while it rolls down

my neck at the most embarrassing moments.

I didn't experience that Randy, but if you've gone back to the doctor

several times now, I would certainly seek a second opinion.

Hi Randy,

did you have resorbable stitches (the ones you don`t have to take out) ?

some people get wound healing problems with certain types of resorbable

stitches.

If that is the case, I think you can`t do much about it, exept waiting, but you

should be aware of it, in case you ever need surgery again.

CI - Suture line - when should it heal

Hi,

The suture line from my implant back on in August is still bleeding. It is a

bit annoying, as well as embarrassing, to be in a meeting your boss discussing

your performance evaluation and blood start running down your neck. I have gone

to the doctor - several times now. For driving 200 miles round trip he tells me

it should have already healed. For that he get to bill my health insurance

carriers. Anyone ever heard of a suture line bleeding 5 months after surgery?

By bleeding I mean that it starts out by oozing blood, usually in very small

amounts, but every once in a while it rolls down my neck at the most

embarrassing moments.

I am most interested in hearing from those with a similar problem.
