Guest guest
Not so fast, Nina. If you're a good person, we need all the good people we can get. If you have compassion it's something we all need. Please stay with us. Please don't let a small argument ruin for you. There are some things written here that I don't like. I just click, 'delete.' I keep reading other stuff because it's so good, and helpful, and I would be lost without it. Please don't count yourself out - your comments here have awakened a few people, that's good. Let's all be ever mindful of good manners, and well as the goal of helping one another. Nothing more, nothing less. Follow the Golden Rule. Walkleader From: cipalm@... Well, you stand corrected, because you are absolutely wrong. I've read this whole thread and bit my tongue, by not replying. However, telling someone that they make mountains our of mole hills, or telling someone that, " If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. " is a bit much for a forum like this. I have not placed judgment on anyone here, I have not just pointed out that there have been comments that do not pertain to anything more than to beat someone down. In the schoolyard, this would be referred to as bullying. No kidding, life if not sugar -coated, does that give permission to speak down to someone. Just as Mike said in his email, " Obviously we don't have to respond to or even read all that comes our way. " There are some here who feel that does not apply to them, this is an opinion not a judgment. It's as if Gerald, must ignore what you all say to him, but he can't vent his frustrations without some of you having some snide comeback. I'm just going to guess here that many of you have had a frustration or two in your life where you just wanted to basically vent and for someone to " just " listen. But is sure seems that only applies to some people. What happen to compassion people!? You would think that in a group like compassion would exist. That's it for me. I'm out of this group. I imagine, I can find another group out there. For the few that I've become friends with, we are friends outside of and I will see them outside of here. Wish you all well. Guest guest
I asked them to send it to my audi for safety's sake. I knew I would have to sign for it and the delivery guys never ring my doorbell. cochlear also told me they'll send me an email when they're sending it out, so I'll know when to start bugging my audi about it. Guest guest
Trish, that is great. No worries then. And yes, bug the audi soon as you know they received the new processor. Guest guest
I had an appointment with my audie this morning. I was hearing well with the N5, but thought I could do better, especially on the music program. She made me a new map, and it is great. Apparently she had just taken my old map from the 3G and transferred it to the N5. I seldom have to lip read now, although it is a hard habit to break after almost 50 years. I listened to music on the way home in the car, and I could hear the vocals and instruments in the back ground, and I could hear the conversation with the people in the car without 'looking'. I also talked to my audie about a bilateral implant, and I can still get that if I feel I need it, so I will just see how it goes. N24C 3G August 2002.
