Guest guest
Just a note also on the Vitamin C.....everyone has a different tolerance level, which means, our particular needs for Vitamin C are highly individualistic. Someone may do well on 1000 mg a day, while another person needs way more than that, as much as 10,000 mg a day or more. Dr. Linus ing, a Nobel Prize winning scientist, and founder of the Linus ing Institute that did large studies on Vit C, used to take 20,000 mg or more a day in the form of a powder. I personally think the best sources for Vitamin C are foods, but we know we could not possibly eat enough food to get what we need for health, and particularly when we are ill with our diseases, Vit C pills are important. There are so many kinds of supplements available, making a good choice can be a daunting task, but look for supplements with bioflavinoids, rutin and/or rose hips included. To find out how much Vit C your body needs a day, take increasing amounts every few days until you finally reach your bowel tolerance level. You will know this by the fact that you get diahrrea when you get there. Then back it off to the level where you don't experience diahrrea. As I said, for one person it could be 1000 mg a day, for another it could be 10,000 mg.
