Guest guest
Steve, I admire a man who is so concerned about his wife's health that he would seek out help like you have. You're in the right place! We've all been made sick by our " safe " saline breast implants. Much in the same exact way your wife began her illness. I got mine in 8/1999 and by 11/1999 I was going back and forth to doctors with terrible fatigue and pain. One of the first things I noticed was the pain in my hands and that they would constantly fall asleep when I was typing. Then the brain fog got so bad that I couldn't figure out what I was doing or where I was going half the time. I remember standing in my office staring at huge stacks of research that I had been working on the prior 7 months (before implants). I couldn't remember what I had done and basically had to start all over again. I never related any of it to my implants until almost 4 years later. Not to mention the fact that all of the doctors said it couldn't be the implants because they were only salt water! I think most of us have a difficult time finding a doctor that believes us. I do know that the best thing to do is to get them out and to get the best surgeon to do it. There are a list of doctors on this site that we have used and had good results from. I travelled from VA to MA to get mine out. It was expensive but worth it. I hope that both of you will find the answers and the help you're looking for. If you haven't yet, read our stories and you'll be amazed at how much like your wife we all are. Go to Files and then Implant/Explant stories.
