Marco,

If you have a telecoil enabled on your processor (and you can check

that with the remote - an Ear will show up next to the picture on the

map), you will pick up things like refrigerators, fluorescent lights,

dimmer switches on lights and computers. All of these operate on an FM

channel, and the telecoil picks them up. SO, if you do have the telecoil

operating, you can switch it off with a switch on the side of the remote.

Could well be the noises you are hearing. Otherwise, note when they

happen, what you are around, and tell the audiologist about it.

They get paid the big bucks to figure these things out.

It does sound like a long humming beep or ring but it may be..........? I

am hearing something which I am not recognizing ,and that is a natural or

unnatural loud sound of things; machines maybe computers , fridges ,

humming. What is it ???? !!!! :)
