CI - Suture line - when should it heal

Randy,

Your wound should absolutely be healed by now. Did you have an infection

afterwards that it is taking

so long to heal? If you still have an oozing wound, it should be taken care of

with maybe an antibiotic

ointment, sterile dressings, getting washed carefully and dried, etc.

As someone else pointed out, be careful with combs and brushes so you are not

irritating it.

Is your processor irritating is somehow? Do you wear glasses and the arm is

irritating the wound?

At any rate, you really need to see a medical professional regarding this ASAP.

You do not have to go to

your surgeon since it is so very far away. Your local primary care physician or

family doctor

should be able to advice you on how to care for the wound.
