Guest guest
sharon Of course I am not a doc but my cycles were very screwy before explant -(still are a little). I would miss 3-4 periods in a row then belled for 3 weeks solid. this was before and after the birth of my son. I had trouble conceiving and they found polyps/cysts on my cervix and removed them. of course then I had no idea it was the implants from hell. After my son was born in 2001, I went for almost a year without a period (i nursed part time for 6 months which may have been a factor). Now they have put me on much stronger birthcontrol pills which have made them better. w/ a history of cancer, though, I am not sure if I wuld take the risk but I would definately consider the explant first - that is so very important. could you move it up earlier? w/ those nasty things in it may hinder your ability to heal from the other op anyways. my immune system is shot. just some suggestions good luck love shari
