Guest guest
, thanks for the input. I'm posting a more detailed description of my audi visit from today, but I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one experiencing this. It's so weird how everyone can get a completely different experience with the same technology, to the point that the equipment and audi's skill can't even figure out what's going on. Technology is both a blessing and a curse! > > I had this experience when I first got my 2nd implant and it was nasty and I had to have the audiologist turn off a couple of the high frequency electrodes when we finally determined that was my problem. If you gain too much high or low frequencies it tends to distort the sounds as well and I had to be persistent about this issue until we resolved it. It took about 2yrs till we got to the bottom of it. > > It was a wonder how I even managed to deal with it at times especially just after my surgery it was so painful. > > > >
