Guest guest
I had this experience when I first got my 2nd implant and it was nasty and I had to have the audiologist turn off a couple of the high frequency electrodes when we finally determined that was my problem. If you gain too much high or low frequencies it tends to distort the sounds as well and I had to be persistent about this issue until we resolved it. It took about 2yrs till we got to the bottom of it. It was a wonder how I even managed to deal with it at times especially just after my surgery it was so painful.
