Can't personally compare, Moses, but CaptionCall has been getting rave

reviews. Here's what a member of my list wrote just this week:

" I love my CaptionCall. They were at our HLACVA meeting this month and said

that any member of HLAA can get a free phone. Not only do you get a free

phone - they will come and install it ( it just plugs into the router and

phone line) but if you do not have a router -like Netgear - they will give

you one or a wireless router. It is all free - they get their money from

people using the captioning service (free but the government pays them

around $1.42 or something per minute you use captions. ( any caption service

gets this - like Captel).

\

The phone is much easier to read than Captel. It has a touch screen - holds

over 100 - maybe 200 phone numbers - can use pictures for people too. Will

caption messages (not an answering machine). Has a long continuous readout

of the phone call so you can scroll back during the call if you forget

something. You lose the transcript when the call is over.

If you are a HLAA member - go to www.captioncall.com and go to Free Demo and

put in HLAA for code. "

FWIW.....
