Guest guest
kathy I read your message and fully agree - and as far as your daughter goes, I suffered at an early age with cramps and at 15 my mom put me on the pill per the docs instructions and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. To this day I have to remain on them (I am 33 and have a 2 1/2 year old now) as I still have them - horrible cramps - heavy bleeding, irregular cycles. The pill fixed them all. When I was in highschool i would have to miss at least 1 day a month when I had my periods - within 2 months all of my severe problems went away. Putting me on the pill at 15 did not make me do anyting crazy or have sex sooner - it was a medical thing and my mom knew it and trusted me. You are a good mom for doing the same and it will help her dearly if you consider it. I went off in 99 after I got married as we were trying to conceive and it took 2 years because I had some other issues but those two years of cramps were the worst I had ever had. I hope this helps shari
