Guest guest
Sharon, I have all the symptoms of Sjogren's but not the positive blood work. I had a tear test done and my eyes are extremely dry - I think normal is 20+ and mine were around 5. They were tested before I had Lasik surgery in 1998, 1 year before I got the implants and they were completely normal. Since getting the implants out I'm not nearly as thirsty and my eyes aren't as blurry and seem to be a little better. I'll be getting them tested again in a few months since I'm on the medicine Plaquenil for Rheumatoid Arthritis and it can damage the color rods in the eyes. Nice, huh? The cure may leave me color blind. I know these test results can be scary, but have faith that you can try to get your health back to normal regardless of what they say about autoimmune diseases being incurable--you just need to get explanted and take some serious steps toward detoxing and rebuilding your immune system. I am so sorry about this ANA stuff, darn, but it does happen with implants! If only the medical field would just admit it and start doing something about this to make implants safer... > Let us know how you are coming in your search for a good explanting doc... > Patty > ----- Original Message ----- > From: northwoods7380 > > Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2004 3:27 PM > Subject: Quick ? - Lab Work > > > Hi, heard from my Doc...all of last sessions blood work came back > normal (Calcium, Lymes, B12....etc.) EXCEPT an ENA Antibody screen > (different from ANA).
