Guest guest
Hi all! Sorry I have not posted in awhile. It has been quite the week for me! I recently had an appt. with my GYN as well as my Oncologist (routine check). My ONC dr. is sympathetic to the idea that my breast implants could be causing my symptoms...he said to stay the course and continue the diagnostic process with the docs, referrals, etc. That is what I am doing, as well as keeping my own records on blood test results, etc. My family doc feels the same. My GYN didn't know what to say, except she is more concerned with my most recent symptoms.....heavy bleeding and severe anemia! (just started again in the past 2 weeks) This is a broken record for me...occurred many times both pre and post breast cancer. Now I am faced with having a hysterectomy (total) next week!! Doesn't appear that I have a lot of choice at this point due to the anemia that keeps resurfacing as well as cancer risk. What do you all think? I am concerned about the auto immune symptoms delaying my recovery, and then having immediate menopause to deal with as well!! Good news, though, I have prayed about the implant situation, and my husband has as well, we have come to the conclusion that I need to get them out as soon as a qualified dr. will do it. So....thank you all, esp. for your references to Dr. Feng. I talked at length to , the manager, and she was so nice, understanding and full of advice. I am booked for explant on March 24th with Dr. Feng!!! I am hoping I will recover enough from the surgery I am scheduled for next week to do it. Thank you all for caring, for all the great advice, to Rogene for the ABC's of Faith and also the illustration of God riding with us through life - all very encouraging! God's blessings, Sharon
