I know it been awhile since I even posted anything. I was turned on

Dec. 6, 2007 in my right ear. I lost my hearing in that ear over the

time period of 1 1/2 year. We knew I was going deaf but we didn't

think it would be the fast.

I had alot of problems with the freedom for the first few weeks but

after we change the Maps of the time period, it got better. I only

use 20 of them, because the last two hurts my head because they are

too loud for me to handle.

I have gotten better with my speech and understanding better, but I

find myself still have to use my interepter at college, because some

of the people speaks so soft that the interepter's has troble hearing

them.

The beam on both of the prossessor doesn't work on them, I have been

waiting for the replacement since Jan. Still haven't gotten them. Was

suppous to go to my 3 months checkup today, but we are putting it off

until I get the replacement in, which hopeful be sometime this week,

they call and told me that they are sending it to me last thursday.

All I know is one day last week, my head keep on ringing so bad ot

hurt me. Don't know what cause it. but it went away the next day.

Most people voices are clearing up, expect mine. I not sure if that

is normal. New pwople's voices always sound funning to me, but it

works out later on. Like my step-daughters sound funny when they

first got here. Now 2 of them are clearing out, the other one it

still funny because she has a speech problem. that I know will take

time on.

Well this is what has been going on with me since my hook-up. Sorry,

I haven't posted like I should have been.

Take care everyone.
