Hearing Speech in Noise with a Cochlear Implant

A research study is being conducted at the Massachusetts Institute of

Technology investigating the relationship between perception in noise

with simple psychoacoustic measures in cochlear implant users. The

study consists of three 2-hour visits. Participants will be asked to

listen to speech in noise and to simple sounds such as tones at a

comfortable listening level. Participants will be reimbursed $15 an

hour including travel times. Please contact Lorraine Delhorne
