Guest guest
, I should have mentioned when I posted that article that it was for your benefit...it was originally posted by Pam. If you check out the archives, it was message number 23274, on Jan 8, only a few weeks ago. Let me know if this was what you were looking for. , the painful masses in your breasts may not be normal. If I remember right, you did not have an en bloc removal, is that correct? It could be that the scar tissue was left inside your breasts, and in that case, they could be evolving and calcifying, which could lead to painful breasts. That is why we have stressed so much the need for complete scar tissue removal, and if the plastic surgeon does not agree to do that, it is a bad sign....it may mean more surgery in the future for you to actually remove the scar tissue that he left behind. It is just better to do it right the first time, and this gives the best chance for complete healing. I hope this is not the case with you, but the only thing you can really do is pursue this with your doctor, have them check into it and find out what is going on. They may totally poo-poo the idea that the capsules can be doing any damage, but remember, we have articles and links posted in our archives that discuss the danger of leaving capsules in the body. Please check your operative report and find out what they did when they removed your implants. Guest guest
They did do an enbloc surgery. At first, though I thought I had saline implants and even though I told him to do an enbloc surgery he cut right into implant. Apon relizing it was silicone, surtures up the hole then removed them enbloc. I still feel there is a lot of scar tissue left behind. You say it can evolve and keep growing? Yes! Thank you for the article. when I asked him about it he said everything that was supposed to be removed was removed. But I haven't been back for my 3 month check and its been since Aug. 14th. Roads got real bad and I had to cancel appt. He's so far away. I know I want to get a second opinion no matter what. ~*Patty*~ <redeemed7@...> wrote: , I should have mentioned when I posted that article that it was for your benefit...it was originally posted by Pam.
