Hi Pam,

Yes I've got this, also on the insides of my feet, on the sides of the

arches. I've checked mine often, and it doesn't seem to actually be

bruising, altho it looks like it at first glance...it's more like you can

actually see the " blue " veins carrying the oxygen poor blood away, exactly

like you said, translucent skin. My skin has become much thinner in some

areas, to the point wher it's painful if it gets pukked taught by the way I

sleep or sit etc...The veins swelling up seems to have gone for the moment.

I got so P'd off at not actually having the symproms bythe time I got to the

doctor that I just plain shuffled into his office one day w/o an appointment

so he could wqork out why the heck I was feeling so lousy at the time. My

blood pressure was somewhere below the ocean floor, my heart beat was slower

than that of a fossil....:) but still he could only smile that sympathetic

smile and say... " have you been under stress lately ? "

Grrrrr....!!!!

Glad to hear I'm not the only weird one! Just kidding. I wonder

what causes it. My blood pressure is normally 120/80 but the last

few times I was checked it was around 108/58. I thought that was

unusually low but the doctor didn't say anything about it. My pulse

is high though - somewhere around 110.

By the way, welcome to the group, you're new, right? I didn't get to

welcome you because de-activated me and it took a few days for

me to figure out what to do. I finally just had to set up a

completely new account. :(
