Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for your post! About the systemic silicone test...it's called a Microscopy. My osteopathic doctor has a Microscopy test (he pricks my finger and looks at the blood under a dark-filmed microscope and we view the results on a tv screen). The test happens in the office and we get immidiate results. I would start asking around and see what doctor's perform the test. It also tests for candida (yeast) and can detect toxins and looks at your red blood cells. I was desparate to find a doctor that would test me for silicone poisoning, and I just called around and asked if the doctor tested for silicone...and to my surprise and delight, he said " yes " and IT IS COVERED UNDER MY INSURANCE! I have United Healthcare. His name is Dr. Gonino (he's in Rowlett,TX), and his website is www.goninowellness.com. He also did a silicone antibody test on me as well (he even had to look up what company would perform the test, as he had not tested for this before). The blood test turned up postive for silicone antibodies, meaning that my body was in fact reacting to the silicone of my saline breast implants. Best of luck , Kacey Great, great news, Kacey!
