Guest guest
Posting of the MoPix Update each week is ending with this issue. Information about currently available and upcoming captioned and described movies, as well as other movie access-related information, will continue to be updated regularly on the MoPix Web site, www.mopix.org. A list of mainstream movies on DVD and Blu-ray with optional description tracks will be updated regularly at www.describedmovies.org. The Captionfish.com Web site can be used as a resource to find captioned and described movies near you based on your zip code. A general news posting from the Media Access Group will eventually replace this topic-specific update. For now, you can follow news from the Media Access Group on Facebook and Twitter (@AccessWGBH). It has been a pleasure assembling this update each week for the last 10+ years. The growth in the number of theaters equipped with access technology, and in the number of movies released each year with captioning and description, has been dramatic. The future promises much more of the same. Thanks to all of you for your support and advocacy, and to those in the film industry, for your efforts to make movies accessible to everyone. - and the WGBH/MoPix Team MoPix Update from WGBH- March 25 1.
