Guest guest
Has anyone in the group been diagnosed with " Vestibula Schwannoma " on the internal auditory canal? I am scheduled for a follow-up MRI to determine its growth rate. Am currently considering a single or Bilateral CI's. I would love to hear from anyone familiar with this diagnosis. Guest guest
I think that is the same thing as an acoustic neuroma. I would think you need to deal with the tumor before you do anything about a CI. (either removal or whatever treatments they may advocate at this time. I had an acoustic neuroma (vestibular schwannoma) in 1994 and at that time the only treatment considered was removal. Now I think if it is very slow growing they may be waiting longer before diving into surgery. What is your doctor advising and where are you?
