Understanding Speech In Morning

Does anyone have problems understanding speech, what is being said, when you

just put your Speech Processor on after waking in the morning?How does speech

sound, first thing in the morning, how and does the speech quality improve in a

few hours? What is your experience? Regards. Ilana

For me, for the first few minutes speech sound fast & hard to understand,

but soon I can understand again.

I don't think it's just the CI. I've always had that issue with my hearing

aids. Especially if my kids are talking as I put on the hearing aids. As I say

to them....don't talk to me until I've had my coffee!! My ears need a minute to

wake up too! No different than turning on a bright light in a dark room.
